We had a fantastic 35th Anniversary party. We presented 3 charter members with charter member certificates and a 12 inch walnut crucifix and presented Al Livelsberger with a plaque. Great evening with lots a great food! The coveted Columbia award was presented to WPGK Dennis Machuga for 2018. I think the smile on the charter members face says it all!

By my count, we had 25 youth who participated. It was a great day, and, I think everyone had a good time. Personally, I enjoyed the excitement and the spontaneity of the youth. I think the Girl Scout cookies and Welch's fruit snacks were a big hit as well. Thanks to Bob Yuzuik for 'making that happen'.
"Thanks" to everyone for your support in this endeavor. Speaking for the Knights, "We had fun" and hope to be able to do it again next year!

The North Carolina Golden Knight of the Year 2017 - Al Liversberger
The State Convention in Durham concluded yesterday. I am overjoyed to announce that Al Livelsberger was selected as "The North Carolina Golden Knight of the Year"!!!
Holy Cross Council 8509 was honored to nominate Al for his 53 years of exemplary service to the Order, the Church, and the Community. Al is truly a source of inspiration to his Brother Knights, as demonstrated by his involvement in the works of the Order, his Church and his community.
⦁ Last year's "NC Knight of the year" Jean Dion, showed his support of LAMB and won the drawing for a wooden American flag (see the last pic).
